RESUMPTION OF PRIMARY AND UBEC MODEL JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS

This is to inform the general public that all Primary and UBEC Model Junior Secondary Schools in Cross River State and have resumed for the new academic session today, Monday, 10th September, 2018.
All Parents/Guardians are hereby advised to release their Children/Wards to go back to school as classes will commence immediately.
The Board is calling on all teaching/non-teaching staff to return to their duty posts immediately, as the Board has already commenced immediate monitoring of schools across the state and any one not found on his/her duty post will be sanctioned.
The General Public is also reminded that the Board runs three Junior Boarding Secondary Schools fully furnished with State-of-the-act facilities, quality teachers, and conducive learning environment in Akpabuyo, Abi and Yala Local Government Areas, respectively. To this end parents/guardians are advised to take advantage of these schools in order to ensure quality education for their Children/Wards.

Following its Invitation to tender in compliance with the Public Procurement Act of 2007, the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has conducted its opening of Bids for 2017 Universal Basic Education (UBE) Intervention Projects today, Monday 24th September, 2018 at the State Universal Basic Education Board, Calabar.
The Executive Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr Stephen odey has been presented with an award of Excellence in Public Service, by the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators, University of Calabar Branch (ANUPA-UCB).
The Universal Basic Education Commisssion (UBEC) has described the Britsih Canadian International School, Obudu as a model for other states to replicate. This was revealed during a working visit to the project by staff of the Commission.
